Willy and Jenny Williams own and operate Vermont Adventure Camps. They have Owned and operated Vermont Adventure Camps since the summer of 2004. They purchased the business and have grown it into one of New England's Premiere Adventure Companies. Willy was born and raised in the hills of Vermont. He grew up in the small town of Andover. Willy attended Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT where he received a BS in Education and Adventure Recreation. Willy started out teaching kids with special needs. He then decided to pursue his dream of operating an adventure business. In 2004 he purchased Vermont Adventure Camps. It has now grown to be one of New England's premiere adventure camps keeping a small and personable environment. He has spent many years biking the back roads and climbing the local ledges as well as kayaking and canoeing Vermont's lakes and rivers.Safety is our primary goal and we are extremely proud of our outstanding safety record. We have worked with thousands of students without any hospital stays or serious injuries. Our guides & instructors are certified and experienced & teach safety in every activity. We hire the best staff on out there. They are mostly college students looking to work in this field in the future. All lead guides are 21+. Our staff comes from all over the country & some from other countries.

9 Camp Counselors with specialties for our Travel Camp and Camp at Thetford Hill: We are looking for counselors with specialties in: Climbing, Backpacking, Kayaking (White Water a Plus), Canoeing, Wilderness Survival, Teambuilding, and other various activities for our Adventure Camp. Previous experience with kids is required. Enthusiasm and energy are essential for this job. All staff works with both camps and is expected to be able to work with kids that are from 6th to 12th grades.
Compensation: lodging, camp meals, and a salary of $1500 to $2500. June 17th to August 19th
2 camp counselor/ cook, shuttle driver etc…: This position is for some one who can cook meals in a camp site setting, cleaning of the entire camp (grounds, kitchen, bathrooms etc…) be the shuttle driver and rotate in trips to give other counselor’s days off. This position will be working at out residential camp in Thetford VT. This will require CPR, first aid or better. This will require the ability to work with kids in a camping environment. The person we choose will be able to work with the kids in each of the adventures the kids participate in, please go to the web site to see if you would be a good fit for this job.

These jobs above start on June 17th and go until August 19th. Current CPR and First Aid or higher is a must. You must be 19 (LEAD GUIDES MUST BE 21) and have at least one year of college in an outdoor related field or of one year of practical experience in an outdoor related field and experience working with teen age kids.
